Captured by the beauty of San Francisco, Leah McKern moved to the City in 1987. Admiring the architectural wonders of the city for many years, she decided to follow her passion and became a real estate agent. As a Realtor, Leah’s goal is to continually exceed her clients’ expectations by providing the highest level of quality service. She prides herself on personal integrity, a commitment to professionalism, and a willingness to help others.

Prior to joining the real estate industry, Leah worked in various senior management positions. This included assignments in over 20 countries, including a stint in The Netherlands as a Senior Manager overseeing Information Technology consultants at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her experience included leading large teams on multimillion-dollar projects – not unlike managing the escrow for a San Francisco Victorian! Her clients benefit from the strong negotiating, analytical and management skills she developed while working for various Fortune 100 companies. Her attention to detail facilitates the escrow process, and her personal experience buying, selling, investing, and renovating properties provides her with first-hand knowledge of (and compassion for) her client’s experiences.

Leah attended the University of Texas where she earned degrees in Accounting and Computer Science, and she later became a Certified Public Accountant. Leah is a member of the National, California, and San Francisco Associations of Realtors, as well as the Women’s Council of Realtors, the Executive Women’s Golf Association, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. Leah strongly believes in continued professional and personal growth, and participates in various training sessions on an ongoing basis to keep abreast of the ever-changing market conditions. One way that Leah gives back to the community is by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.

Leah’s second great passion (after real estate) is golf – with other interests in sculpting and gardening. Her current goal is to play golf at different courses around the world with her husband. If you don’t see her showing houses in San Francisco, you may see her on the Links in Scotland!
